You have taken the big step of improving your diet because you wanted more energy, more vitality, you don't want to age so quickly, you want to avoid heart disease and cancer, but you aren't noticing the benefits people talk about. In the morning you still want to stay in bed, you don't have the motivation to do the things you know you should, such as to start exercising (I prefer the word movement - much nicer!) and whatever health problems you had are still troubling you.
Don't give up!
Our bodies have trillions of cells and that is where most of the toxins go when they enter your body. It is the toxins that are probably causing the problems for you and you need to get them out. Your cells can hold an awful lot of them without you noticing any undue problems. Then you notice a niggling problem, but you ignore it or treat it with medication and it goes away. That niggling problem is your body SHOUTING out to you to take action. If you don't resolve the original problem by improving your diet and lifestyle the situation will only get worse. That pain in your wrist might just disappear but unless you clear your toxic load from your cells more pain will return sometimes in a different part of your body at a later stage.
If the routes of elimination aren't open then no matter what you do to improve your health you won't truly heal and might even feel worse. Our main routes of elimination are through our skin, breath and No 2's.
But, and here is where many go wrong, you must stop more toxins from entering your body and that isn't just food, it includes the liquids you drink, environmental and mental ones too. And it isn't just the ones that enter via your mouth. Your skin absorbs a great deal and we need to make sure the bad stuff isn't getting in any more.
So you need an action plan - well here it is!
Stop absorbing more toxins. Consider your cleaning and personal care products and the water you shower in as a start.
Dry skin brush each morning for 5 minutes before your shower.
Do a course of castor oil packs to your liver - 4 a week on consecutive days for 4 weeks.
Drink the equivalent of 3 litres of pure room temperature water for a 10 stone person - adjust to your own weight.
Only eat during an eight hour window, so between, 10 am and 6 pm for example.
Ensure you are having regular bowl movements. Consider a colonic treatment or a self administered enema.
Get your lymph moving. Try rebounding, a vibration plate or just simply shaking your body.
You can of course go on a fast or a juice detox but for those of us that really can't stand the thought of no food the above suggestions will certainly help you on your health journey.
